The Willows Caravan Park Review – 4729-VTY
Onsite Facilities & Activities
The Willows Caravan Park is a small, peaceful, family orientated caravan park close to the River Great Ouse.
June and Ray are the resident wardens on the park and they try to maintain a relaxed and quiet atmosphere at all times. The facilities block has toilets, showers, indoor washing up areas, washing machine and a disabled shower and toilet room. There is a small play park for children under 7 years of age and plenty of weeping willow trees, ideal for playing hide and seek.
For our older guests, fishing is available in the river or nearby lakes at Hinchingbrooke Country Park and Cromwell Lake and there are many pleasant walks in the area.
The Brampton Mill restaurant and bar is a 1 minute stroll from the site and serves excellent food for those not wishing to cook. The town of Huntingdon is 1.5 miles from the site and has an open air market on Wednesdays and Saturdays plus the usual high street shops.
Brampton racecourse is a short distance away from the site and has a large car boot sale every Sunday morning. Hinchingbrooke Country Park is a short walk from the caravan site and has lots of walks and a visitor centre.
Cromwell museum is in the town centre with plenty of exhibits and admission is free.
