Camping Holiday Green Reviews

Holiday Green Holiday Park

Tuck into a hillside on the Riveras Cote D’Azure sits Holiday Green. This holiday park is one of the liveliest in the region and is a great place for any family wanting to have an action packed time in the sun. Holiday Green has a great range of facilities and amenities and is well located for a number of lively beach resorts. With laundry, reception and supermarkets all located on the side of a hill you might want to think again if you are a bit unsteady on your feet. There are some great local events during the summer including the International Firework Festival in Cannes on 14th July – if you’re here, don’t miss it.

There are over 650 pitches at Holiday Green, all of them chalets that are available between 12th May and 16th September. The chalets at Evergreen Camping are either two or three bedrooms with between 25m2 and 40m2 floor space. All chalets have at least one double bedroom and one twin room and there are two sofa beds in the living space so you can fit a large family in easily.

The chalets come with private shower and loos and have kitchens with everything you need for cooking; a real home from home. Outside there is patio furniture for you to enjoy the warm summer evenings with.

Facilities & Activities at Holiday Green

Holiday Green is a lively place with activities going on most of the time. The on-site animation team organises events for the kids and there are lively evenings organised for the whole family as well. Entertainment centres on the bar and restaurant where themed evenings and discos are regularly organised. While we’re talking about food there is also a creperie and a takeaway as well as mini-market where you can stock up on self catering essentials.

It’s likely your day-times will be taken up with the pool and the beach and the on-site sports. The pool complex has three pools, one for children and the other two for families, There is also a spa area with Jacuzzi and solarium for catching the Mediterranean sun. The campsite has some very well maintained sports facilities that include tennis, badminton and basketball. You can organise scuba lessons during high season.

If you’d rather head for the beach there is a complimentary shuttle bus that runs from just outside the campsite. Outside the holiday park, remember this is the Cote D’Azure, elegant and bustling and nowhere is this more so than in nearby Frejus. Whilst you’re there and if you’re fed up window shopping, drinking coffee and otherwise bored with cafe society check out the Roman ruins – spectacular! Don’t forget you are also within a stones throw distance of places like Cannes, St Tropez and St Raphael.

The pool was very popular with kids we went during peak season which meant if we wanted to use the sunbeds we had to pay a small charge, we never did. The onsite shop stocks all the well known brands but local supermarkets are just a short drive away.

The accommodation was ample and clean, we were all pleased with it. If you fancy a trip offsite the beaches are around 20 minutes away.
