Facilities & Activities at Haven Weymouth Bay

Holidays are all about the pool and you have a choice of indoor and outdoor at Weymouth Bay both of which are heated. The outdoor pool has an attractively laid out sun deck where you can sit and enjoy a mid-morning coffee and the indoor pool has a sunshine roof that lets in all the natural sunlight but keeps out any bad weather that may arise. The new lazy river feature links both pools and is a perfect way to spend the afternoon.

It wouldn’t be a holiday in Dorset with spending some time on the beach. The golden sands of Weymouth, a pretty Victorian seaside town, are a short 15 minutes drive away. Nearby Bowleaze Cove makes a different beach experience as it is a shingle beach. If you travel a little further afield you will also find the world-famous Sandbanks beaches in Poole which have been awarded the EU Blue Flag for the clean quality of their water.

While you are out and about there are plenty of attractions in this part of Dorset. The swannery at Abbotsbury, the ruined castle at Corfe and the tropical gardens, also at Abbotsbury are just some of the things that are of interest in this part of Dorset.

Back on the park there are also some good choices for feeding the family. Firstly there is a convenience store that is perfect for stocking up on those last minute purchases for the evening meal. The oasis bar and Grill serves a wide selection of dishes for breakfast, lunch and for dinner and the kids will really love the special Character Breakfast – imagine, eating out for breakfast – Fancy Nancy!
