Thorpe Park Caravan Holiday Park

The Haven Thorpe Park campsite is a large and lively park that is just full of summer holiday fun times. The park has direct access to the stunning sands of the Lincolnshire coastline and has a superb Family Fun Zone with a whole range of activities such as adventure golf and the parks own coarse fishing lake. A short stroll, OK it’s about two miles actually, along the glorious beaches and you come to Cleethorpes, one of Lincolnshire’s most popular holiday resorts where these is a bustling atmosphere both day and night.

Guests who stay at Thorpe Park have an unusually wide choice of accommodation types. The park welcomes touring and camping guests and has a range of pitches suitable for tourers, motor homes, tents and tented trailers. Euro pitches come with electricity feeds and consist of a hard-standing base with a parking space while tent pitches are also supplied with electricity and have grass bases and parking spaces. There is also a shower block with toilets, hair dryers and shaving points.

Thorpe Park has a wide range of caravan types that are designed to meet the needs of every family. The main range of caravans, from standard to prestige, come with either two or three bedrooms. With the two sofa beds in the lounge areas you have the chance to sleep either six or eight people. Each caravan has a well equipped kitchen with a private shower and bathroom. Choose whatever style of caravan you like from the comfortable standard models to the Platinum range that has modern stylish decor and i s slightly larger in size. Retreats and Summer House caravans are designed with traditional beach hits in mind and create a light and summer feel for your holiday base.

Thorpe Park also has a range of Sea view and Lake View caravans that are placed so they have spectacular views.

Facilities & Activities

A family holiday of half term getaway at Thorpe Park is full of fun and activity. There are sports facilities to suit all ages including an all weather multi-sports court, a family friendly pitch and putt course as well as a more challenging 9 hole course with a par 33. For the more adventurous there is also a climbing wall with abseiling and zip wires. If you are looking to improve your skills there is also regular coaching in football, fencing, archery and new this year, in basketball as well.

With coarse fishing, kart hire and Bush Craft activities there is also plenty of non-sports activity to be had. Kids Clubs are organised and are perfect for giving Mum and Dad some time off while the kids get a chance to mix with others of their own age. Little Cubs for the 0 – 4 year olds, Club R & B for the 5 – 8’s, Skillz Club for the 9 – 12s and T Co Zone for the 13+ provide arrange of activities tailored to specific age groups.

Holidays seem to stimulate the family’s appetite so meal times are made as straight forward as possible. First, there is the on-site SPAR convenience store here you can buy everything you need (and some) to make best use of the cooking facilities in the caravans. There is also a bakery serving fresh bread and pastries so organising food is easy and straight forward. If you fancy a night off from cooking, and who can blame you, head straight for the parks Cafe bar and Grill where meals are served for breakfast and lunch as well as dinner. Take away is always special for the kids and you can choose between Papa John’s Pizzas, made fresh to order,  fish and chips from our traditional chip shop or Burger King, exactly the same as your local one.

Off course, no seaside holiday would be complete without swimming. Alongside the miles of stunning beach you can also swim in the parks indoor and outdoor pools. You’ll be hard pushed to find more ways to get wet than there are at the Thorpe Park pools. Flues, slides, a lazy river and the fantastic Space Bowl Flume all mean fun fun fun. There is also a choice of indoor or outdoor pool so you can enjoy the water, whatever the weather. The park also organises plenty of water based activity. Free sessions such as water confidence sessions and a range of reasonably priced activities such as Aqua Gliders, Aqua Jets and Water Walkerz will keep the kids coming back to the pool, time after time.
