Setan Sands Caravan Holiday Park

Just twenty minutes from the centre of Edinburgh, Seton Sands is set on the beach, overlooking the glistening Firth of Forth amidst wide open country spaces. It features a newly refurbished central complex for summer 2014 and because its location and ease of access it makes a perfect holiday location for families looking for a summer break or half tem getaway. Staying at Seton Sands is a perfect launching point for the many sights and attractions on offer in the east of Scotland.

The choice of accommodation is designed to meet all family requirements. Caravans are split into six classes from Standard to Prestige. Moving up from Standard to the other caravan types, the fittings become more modern and the amount of space increases. Whichever type of caravan you choose they all come with either two or three bedrooms and along with the sofa bed in the cosy lounge they can sleep either six or eight people. All have comfortable lounge areas and there is a fully functioning kitchen where you can prepare meals for the family. Each caravan also has its own loo and shower. There is also a range of specially adapted caravans with wheelchair access and low worktops in the kitchen. These caravans are also suitable for those people who have registered assistance dogs.

If you fancy the outdoors in a gentle way there is a push-chair friendly Adventure Trail that has purpose built activity equipment located along the walk. It’s a perfect way to introduce the kids to exercise in a fun, family friendly way. Organised Time 2 Play activities means Frisbee, rounders and other sports are organised for all to take part in. Crazy golf is perfect for the children and if you need indoor activity there are pool tables and the FunWorks amusement arcades. The clubs are a perfect way for children to get to know each other.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a seaside holiday without swimming. Seton Sands has a large heated indoor pool with a spate paddling area that is perfect for the youngest children.  In the pool there are also organised activities such as Water Walkerz, Aqua Gliders and Learn 2 Swim that mean the children will want to come back to the pool time after time.

With a good range of restaurants on site, catering for the family could not be easier either. There is an onsite SPAR convenience store where you can by fresh goods. Alongside this you can also eat in true holiday style at the sites Cafe Bar and Grill which has a terrace with spectacular views across the sea.
