Haven Seaview Holiday Park

Set in rural Dorset the Haven Seaview holiday park is a secluded place that is perfect for a peaceful family holiday. Situated a short three miles from the pretty Victorian seaside town of Weymouth and just a few minutes to the beach at Bowleaze Cove it is a perfect place for a holiday during the summer or for a spring or autumn half term break.

The park is located in the middle of green, gently rolling Dorset countryside and offers you fantastic coastal walks and beaches right on your doorstep. There is a pretty nature walk between Weymouth and Seaview and best of all, you get two parks for the price of one as you have free access to use the facilities of Seaview’s sister park at Weymouth Bay.

Visitors to Haven holiday parks have a fantastic range of accommodation to choose from and Seaview is no exception. There is a wide range of caravans fitted to differing standards of design and fixtures and fittings. Whichever caravan you choose they all have a kitchen area to help with your catering arrangements, a shower and toilet as well as either two or three separate bedrooms. Two bedrooms sleep six people and three bedrooms sleep eight with two sleeping on sofa beds in the comfortable lounge areas. Just choose your budget and then find the right caravan for you. There is also a selection of caravans that have been kitted out for visitors with mobility issues. These caravans are also suitable for visitors with guide dogs or other registered assistance dogs.

For those with larger families or those just looking for a little more space there are also a range of chalets to rent; either two, three or four bed roomed they comfortably sleep up to eight and have free-standing furniture throughout – a real home from home.

Facilities & Activities at Seaview

What holiday would be complete without a pool? At Seaview there are two pools and outdoor pool as well as an indoor one that is perfect if the weather lets you down a little. The indoor pool has been recently refurbished and has a new slide feature while the outdoor pool is surrounded by a sun deck with loungers making it perfect for a family day together. There is also a range of water activities that includes pool kayaking, water walkerz and aqua jets that for a small extra charge means plenty of additional fun.

There are plenty of other sports and activities on offer at Seaview. Ten pin bowling, archery and fencing are all on offer and if you want to bone up on your skills there are coaching classes available for the kids as well. There is also a well kitted FunZone where you can all enjoy arcade amusements together.

Kids Club is a range of organised sessions for children in specific age ranges. Activities are organised for each age range and include crafts, sports and music events that mean the kids are looked after, giving Mum and Dad some quality time together.

With all of this activity many people stay on site for their entire holiday. If however, you wish to venture out there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Dorset is a wealth of interesting places to visit such as nearby Corfe with its ruined castle. The famous seaside town of Poole with its historic quay and beautiful sandy beaches is also close to hand. The coastline in this part of the world is the world famous UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast and spectacular features such as Lulworth Cove, Chesil Beach and Old Harry Rocks are all worth seeing. The nearby Abbotsbury Swannery is home to the largest flock of swans in the UK and makes an interesting day out.

Organising food can be a major issue on holiday but not at Seaview. Whatever you are looking for your tastes are catered for. There is a convenient SPAR where you can pick up everything you need to prepare a holiday meal. There are also a selection of food outlets that will make your holiday extra special. The Cafe Bar and Grill is a bright and cheery place where you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner as well as a drink. Character breakfasts in the Cafe will be a big hit with the kids. Kids love pizza and pizza makes a perfect takeaway at Papa Johns pizzas are made to order, fresh and never frozen and will be sure to be a big hit with the kids.
