Rockley Park Holiday Park

Overlooking the stunning Pole Harbour, Rockley Park has some wonderful views. It has direct access, via a sloping walk to a small sandy beach. The site also has a Luxury Spa and has access to its own nature reserve. Rockley Park is a perfect destination for an action packed summer holiday where you are looking to mix outdoors activities and the beach together.

Visitors staying at Rockley Park have a choice of eight different caravan types. All caravans have their own toilets and showers so there is no need to queue at public blocks. Each also has its own kitchen which will enable you to prepare meals for your family during your stay. You can sleep up to six or eight people in two or three bedrooms, there are also two sofa beds in the comfortable lounge space. The Prestige and Platinum caravans are top of the range and are furnished to a very high standard with luxury fixtures and fittings. For those intent on an outdoor holiday the standard and standard plus caravans also have everything you need for a perfect home from home for your stay.

For less able visitors, the park also has a selection of caravans that have been fitted out with wheelchair users in mind. The caravans have specially designed bathrooms and are also perfect for people with guide dogs or registered assistance dogs.

Facilities & Activities at Rockley Park

No holiday park would be complete without a pool and Rockley Park does not let you down. With a choice of indoor and outdoor pools, both of which are heated, you can be sure of a great days entertainment. The outdoor pool has a paddling area for younger children as well as a towering flume which is perfect for the most ardent thrill seeker. The indoor pool, great on the days when the weather lets you down, has a sunshine roof that lets all of the wonderful Dorset light in.

If you are looking for beach life you are a short ride away from the famous Sandbanks beaches where you have free access to miles of golden sand and can swim in some of the cleanest sea water in Europe. Pool bay was awarded the Blue Flag for clean beaches again this year.

Sports activities arranged cat Rockley Park make for lots of fun and energetic activity to tire the children out. Rope courses, wall climbing and abseiling are among the more unusual activities that will attract the kids attention. There also coaching session in fencing, archery, tennis and football that are all available for a small extra charge. The selection of activities continues with Kids Clubs. Four different age ranges, these clubs feature programs of sports, music and craft activities that keep the kids occupied giving Mum and Dad some well deserved time off.

When it comes to feeding the family Rockley makes life very easy for you. There is a SPAR shop that lets you stock up on all of your food supplies quickly and easily, allowing you to get on with your holiday If you are in the mood for eating out – and why not – there are a number of options to choose from. The Mash and Barrel is a bar and restaurant that serves great beer and wine as well as food all day, The newly redeveloped Beach Cafe is perfect for a quick snack or a refreshing beer and during the summer months there are regular barbecues to make a meal extra special.

With all this activity onsite many people spend their entire holiday at Rockley but there is w wide range of things to choose from.  You are minutes from the old town of Poole with its traditional quay and the glorious sandy beaches of Sandbanks. Historic castles and wild walks in the Purbeck hills are all within a few miles of the park making Rockley Sands a perfect place for a summer vacation or a half term getaway in the autumn or spring.
