Facilities & Activities at Haven Green Acres

What holiday is complete for the kids without a good swim?  As well as the stunning two miles of blue flag beaches there is  a superb heated indoor pool. The pool has a sunshine roof which lets all the North Wales sunlight flood in. To deal with all that excess energy the outdoor SplashZone provides countless opportunities for tipping, splashing, squirting and generally drenching each other. There is also a lovely shallow, heated outdoor paddling area that is just perfect for younger non-swimmers. With free water confidence sessions organised by the park and a range of water activities such as Turbo Gliders and Water Walkers available at very reasonable charges the beach, the sea and the pools will be an important part of any stay at Greenacres.

Action at Greenacres also includes a range of sports activities. Football, archery and fencing coaching session are all on offer while activities such as Adventure Golf, Nature Reserve, and Kart Hire will keep all the family active and busy during their stay. Specifically for the children there are many sessions such as B Fit, mini archery, mini fencing and an outdoor fun zone that are designed to spark an interest in being staying active in your children. The park also organises Kids Clubs for the children in five different age groups that encourages them to make friends with other children of their own age.

As if all of that was not enough there is also an organised program of entertainments offer a variety of shows aimed at the children or at the family. Morning afternoon and evening shows are presented during the summer season and include FunStar productions such as NEW Girls on Film, FunStar RockStar and project Talent with shows such as Cinders – the New Musical and Summer Mani aimed squarely at providing an evening of entertainment for all the family.

If all of that doesn’t make you exhausted, beyond the park is a raft of North Wales attractions that includes Adventure Paintballing (OUCH!), and the Anglesey Sea Zoo. Local places of interest well worth a visit are the Snowdonia national Park, Shell Island, Chester and Offa’s Dyke which is perfect for a day’s walking.

After a busy day on or off park when it comes to feeding the family, Greenacres makes it very easy. Firstly there is a bakery and a well stocked SPAR store where you can find everything you need to make best use of the self-catering facilities in your caravan. Alternately, you can take a well-earned catering rest and pitch up at the mash and Barrel bar and restaurant. It’s welcoming and best of all serves freshly cooked meals morning noon and night. Of course, it wouldn’t be the seaside without fish and chips and the park has its own chippy where they serve freshly cooked fish and proper chip shop chips – job done!
