Devon Cliffs Holiday Park

Devon Cliffs is a large Haven holiday park overlooking the expansive Sandy Bay. Because the park is large, you should expect a lively bustling holiday at Devon Cliffs where there will be plenty of entertainment and activities to keep you all occupied during your stay. South Devon is made up of rolling green fields and has wonderful warm weather as well as spectacular sandy beaches all of which make Devon Cliffs the perfect destination for a family getaway.

When you stay on the park you stay in two or three bed roomed holiday caravans that have all the facilities  you need to make a cosy home from home for your holiday. There is a wide range of caravan types to choose fro, some with the very latest fixtures and fittings, some furnished to a luxury standard and even a range that are just suited to resting your head after a busy day on the beach.

Standard and the slightly larger Standard Plus caravans have everything you need as a base for your outdoors holiday. With sofa beds in the comfortable lounge Area a two bed roomed model can sleep up to six people while three bedrooms sleep up to eight.

The complete range includes Superior, Deluxe, Prestige and even Platinum with each model providing more space and more modern furnishings. The Devon Cliffs select caravans are the largest of all, over 12 feet wide and all have spectacular views out across Sandy Bay. For less able visitors there are also caravans that have been adapted and these caravans are also suitable for Guide Dogs and Registered Assistance Dogs.

Facilities & Activities at Haven Devon Cliffs

For most people, one of the best reasons to stay at Devon Cliffs is the wide sandy beach that is accessed directly from the park, down the cliff path. The beach was recently awarded a European Union Blue Flag award, the highest possible ward for the cleanliness of the water. It really is crystal clear. If you prefer to spend your days on the park then there is a wide range of swimming pools and water activity to keep the children amused while you relax on one of the many sun loungers. There is a large outdoor pool complex with water flumes and a water play area. The pool is heated and for a small charge the kids can take part in all sorts of water activities such as Pool Kayaking, Water Walkerz and Aqua Jets.

Devon Cliffs also has an extensive range of activities to keep even the most active kids amused.      Family sports activities make holidays that the kids will really remember. Take part together in abseiling, climbing walls, fencing and archery just for starters. If it’s all a bit too energetic for Mum and Dad they can manage some serious down time because Devon Cliffs has an extensive program of kids clubs Aimed at four different age groups, there’s even a club that’s not called a club – perfect for those !3 + youngsters who are just too grown up to have anything remotely like a kids club. While the kids are taken care of there’s plenty of time to sample to pampering at the Luxury Spa on site.

Feeding the family can be a grind at times and it doesn’t let up when you are on holiday. At Devon Cliffs there is a well stocked SPAR store where you can purchase everything you need to cook in your caravan. You can also take advantage of the food outlets that are located in the park. The mash and barrel restaurant is perfect for a family night out and if you want to make the most of your caravan (and the kids will definitely want to) then there is Papa John’s Pizza, perfect for eat in or take away. The South Beach Cafe has fantastic views over the sea and is perfect for an informal breakfast, lunch or dinner any time. With branded food outlets such as Starbucks, Burger King and Millies Cookies as well as a traditional fish and chip shop no meal time need ever be the same.
