There are three superb pools at Domaine De Chalain, one for toddlers and the other two for family use. One of the family pools is indoors which means that on those rare days when the sun doesn’t shine the kids can still swim. We visit Domaine De Chalain every year or at least we try. We’ve always booked through Eurocamp and have never had any problems. The mobile homes are spacious, modern and the decking really opens it up to the outside.

We always visited with our two sons and usually one of their school friends. The kids were 11 & 14 when we first went and have always gone off and done their own thing, playing in the lake or playing football against the Dutch and French kids – the games are usually organised by the animation team, it is a great atmosphere.

My wife and I preferred to relax with a glass of wine on the decking but the kids usually went to the disco or just socialised with others their age onsite.

The Jura is lovely for bike riding and walking and the nearby small villages are the real France, don’t be afraid to visit them.

We often cooked our own food using the BBQ although the kids loved the onsite pizzeria.

A great site with an amazing natural lake, we just love it here.
