Combe Haven

Set in the pretty East Sussex countryside with spectacular views across the English countryside, Combe Haven is a perfect destination for a family holiday. A short 30 minute walk sees you in historic Hastings while the park itself offers a wide variety of activity and entertainment to make any stay totally memorable. Close to London, this park is perfect for a short half term break during Spring or Autumn and is also perfect for a longer summer family holiday.

There is a wide choice of caravan accommodation to be found at Combe Haven. All caravans have either two or three bedrooms and with a double sofa bed that means you can comfortably sleep either six or eight people. There is a fully fitted kitchen with everything you need to make self-catering easy on your holiday. The comfortable lounges have gas fires and TVs and each caravan has its own loo and shower. Standard caravans are perfect if you are looking for somewhere to stay on an outdoors and active holiday while the Platinum caravans offer more space and more modern fixtures and fittings and provide a bit more luxury in your holiday home from home. There is also a range of adapted caravans that are designed with the needs of people with mobility requirements in mind. They are also perfect for people who holiday with their registered assistance dogs.

Facilities & Activities

Combe Haven means water and there are plenty of fun soaked water activities to choose between. There is a heated indoor pool that opens daily between 10am and 5pm. The outdoor pool is a large area where the entire family can enjoy time together. There is a paddling area that is perfect for younger children who are new to pool play and the spectacular Space Bowl flume will give you a real white knuckle experience that will keep the kids coming back time after time. The park also organises a series of water activities, some free and some for a small extra charge. Activities include Learn2Swim, Water Walkerz and Turbo paddlers to name but three.

If all that pool activity was not enough, you can also take part in a range of sports as well. Why not start by sharpening up your performance with some basketball or soccer coaching. If you fancy something a bit different you can take coaching in fencing and archery. The indoor SportsDrome is perfect for those days when the weather lets you down and means that basketball, five-a-side and badminton are on call all the time. The outdoors sports court is perfect for a self organised game of touch rugby or even rounders. The park also has its own 9 hole pitch and put golf course which is a great way of introducing the youngsters to the delights of golf.

Activity is not just about sports at Combe Haven. There is entertainment provided in the morning and afternoon that is aimed squarely at the children. Roller discos, nature trails, indoor bowling and the FunWorks amusement arcade will keep everyone occupied all the time. Combe Haven also organises Kids Clubs. Four different clubs aimed at different age groups means the children have plenty of opportunity to make new friends and it also means that Mum and Dad get some serious Me Time.

Meal times are also a breeze at Combe Haven. The excellent self catering facilities are made even better with the onsite SPAR convenience store which means you can shop without even leaving the park. Because its holiday though you will want to try eating out and the Mash and Barrel open for breakfast, lunch and dinner it is perfect for a bite on the go or for a special three course family celebration. No holiday would be complete without a takeaway and you can choose between freshly made pizza from Papa John’s. Everyone’s favourite Burger King is exactly as you’d find it at home and is sure to go down well with the kids.
